United Methodist Men

We invite all the men of the church to join us in fellowship. We meet on the third Friday of each month, usually at 7:30 P.M. The men host coffee hour twice each month after service. We also participate in several activites in the community throughout the year. If you would like to become a dues paying member, dues are $12 per calendar year. Or, if you prefer, become a non dues paying member. That's right, just show up. All men of the church are welcome. This is for fun and fellowship.

October 7, 2011 - 12:00 noon - Teacher Appreciation Luncheon (for all V.P. School District teachers)
October 15, 2011 - Habitat for Humanity work day
October 22, 2011 - 6:00pm - October Fest - Sausage & Kraut, Red Cabbage, German Potato Salad, Polka Band. $15.00
November 12, 2011 - 6:30pm - Fish Fry, Slaw, Fried Potatoes, green beans, dessert.
December 4, 2011 - 7:15am til 9:00am - Free Breakfast. Community invited. French Toast, Fruit Cocktail, etc.
December 17, 2011 - 6:30pm - Pot Luck Christmas Dinner

Bands at various functions.
Friday Night Coffee House 7-11pm. Round tables, floor lamps, stage band, wi/fi, coffee & pastries. Post Card Mailer.

Minutes of August meeting - none.
Old Business
- August 2 at Hardee's made $125.00.
- Next Eat Around the World at Taj Palace on October 8. Car pool from Church at 11:30.
New Business
- Valley Park Meals on Wheels program - use money collected at Hardee's
- Dates established for upcoming UMM events Sept - Dec.
- Long discussion held on the idea of a "Signature Mission" for VPUMC. Several possibilities were brought up.
